2. The screen with uncut tailpiece
3. Winder.

• From your screen remove the tailpiece 
• Offer the tailpiece again back to your winder present in your window frame and then mark with a pencil where you want to cut
• Cut by using tin snips
• Then snap off by using pliers and then by bending it back and forth.
