The government owned BSNL or Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited which is majorly known for its prepaid plans has made some new changes in a few of its plans. The major changes include the extension of validity of one of the plans that cost Rs. 699 and two new special tariff vouchers. The users can now do their BSNL recharge and take advantage of these plans.
Extension of validity of Rs. 699 plan
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited had announced its new feature of Rs. 699 plan on April 1, 2021. According to this offer, the validity of the Rs. 699 which was earlier decided to be 160 days will now be increased with 20 more days. So, now the new and final validity of the Rs. 699 plan is 180 days. This promotional offer was only valid for a period of 90 days or 3 months from the date of the announcement but the telecom service provider has decided to increase the promotional offer for an extra 90 days or 3 months. All the other benefits of the Rs. 699 plan which includes 0.5 GB of data per day, unlimited free voice calls, and 100 SMS every day, will remain the same as before.
New special tariff vouchers
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has quit the PV94 and PV75 plans from their BSNL recharge plans. Now, the telecom service provider company has decided to renew the plans as STV94 and STV75 in which STV stands for Special Tariff Vouchers. The advantages and cost of the BSNL recharge plans will remain the same as earlier.
The new STV94 pack of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited or BSNL offers a total of 3 GB internet along with 100 minutes of voice calls for a time period of 90 days or 3 months. The users can access the benefits of BSNL tunes for the first 2 months in this pack. On the other hand, the benefits of the STV75 recharge plan includes a total of 2 GB of data, 100 minutes of voice calls, and the validity of the pack stands for 60 days or 2 months along with the BSNL tunes. After the user finishes the limit of free voice calls offered in the packs, they will be charged 30 paise every minute for voice calls.
The consumers can do their BSNL bill payment online or offline depending upon their preferences. People can use different apps such as Amazon Pay, Paytm or Google pay etc. in order to do their BSNL online recharge or they can visit websites like Mobikwik, FreeCharge, or Airtel Payments Bank. The users will be able to earn cashback and rewards if they proceed to do their BSNL recharge online with such apps or websites.
